In a new operational update, A.P. Moller-Maersk announced that its operations are “now running close to normal again,” and said Maersk Line is currently accepting bookings in three different ways.

“We are pleased to report that our operations are now running close to normal again,” Maersk said on its website.

“Following the cyber attack on Tuesday, A.P. Moller-Maersk is cautiously progressing towards technical recovery to ensure the issue remains contained. It is too early to give a timeline for normal state of business to be restored,” the logistics and energy company said.

It said box shipping division Maersk Line has “since 7.00 PM CEST been taking online bookings through three different solutions. Via INTTRA, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and an online booking form.”

It added that Maersk Line is loading cargo as booked and handling of cargo in transit is close to normal.

For APM Terminals the situation continues to improve, said the company. “Impacted terminals have implemented business continuity plans and operations teams are carefully implementing IT solutions that will restore full operations.”

Damco and its customers are working together on receiving and dispatching of CFS (Container Freight Station) shipments. With this Damco remains operational across all its main products.

Maersk Oil, Maersk Drilling, Maersk Supply Service, Maersk Tankers, Maersk Training, Svitzer, and Maersk Container Industry remain operationally unaffected, said Maersk.
